Hi
I have a CMS 2002 site with the web server in a box and the sql server
in another.
Both machines can't see each other, besides the ports 80 and 1433 (for
SQL Server), but the IE doesn't have any proxy.
Sharepoint 2001 is indexing the site (from the box with the web
server) for search purposes, but a great number of pages are skiped
because of "operation timed out" error.
I noticed the IIS is a litle slow sometimes, but never more than 10 to
15 seconds, and the query time limit (in SPS) is 9999999 and I still
get the same error.
It's curious that the problem is not always in the same pages, so I'm
guessing it could be because of IIS or the cache.
I tryed indexing using http:// Any pointers??
