Hi,

I'm using Office 2003 with SPS 2003. And I wanted to publish a list on the SPS . But it gives an error - "Cannot connect to server at this time. Your list cannot be published ".

Tried a couple of things based on posts on this site
     1) Attempted to connect to the root site as well as sites below - all of them fail
     2) Ensured that there is no anonymous access to the site

Also the site uses Integrated Windows authentication with a WiNNT based domain server.

I also created a list on Share Point (under my site ) and then exported it - it worked.
I made changes to the list and tried to synchronize - similar error " A connection to the SharePoint site cannot be established .... "

I also tried "View list on server" and that works.
