I'm curious as to if cacls / xcacls can be used on
folders within the sharepoint database. I need to modify
perms at the top level of a very large folder structure,
but only want the subfolders to inherit the addition. In
other words - I'd like to preserve the permissions on all
of the subfolders with the addition of the new user at
the top level - (knowing the subfolders aren't set to
inherit parent directory perms).

In the windows world - this is what cacles / xcacls are
used for. was curious as to how this is overcome in
sharepoint.

Thank you,

- Tyler
