Hi,
We have recently started experiencing a problem wehn trying to
subscribe to a document, folder or search. The messages are:
Subscription to this item is not supported.
Failed to create subscription.

I have looked in this news group, but onlike the other articles I have
found on this problem, we are whether getting a proper error message,
nor seeing anything unusual in the logs and it does happen for every
subscription, not just searches.

We are on SP2a and I have excluded all the SP Folders from the Virus
Checker.

What is also unusual is that I have set up two other servers, based on
the faulty one, using the faulty's backup and they work fine,
subscriptions and all. I compared the settings of the M drive on the
servers that work and the faulty one and they look identical.

Any further suggestions are greatly welcome.
Thanks
Rosa
