SharePoint 2007 - Page permission problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

What might be the reasons why all regular users are able to access all
pages on all sites on a SharePoint portal but only the home page
except the site collection administrators? I've looked to make sure
that I've included the appropriate users in the site permissions
section but that doesn't fix the access problem. Any ideas?
