Site group permissions to lists programmatically....

My custom app creates a site according to a template in a global
gallery.

BUT I only just realised that site group permissions to specific lists
don't seem to get saved in the template??

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I might
programmatically change list permission on this new subsite...

e.g. Remove the reader rights and change the contributer rights on a
specific document library

Many thanks in advance,

Rich
