Ishai -- as far as i can tell it is English across the board.
I tried to import the DWP via the CAB file extraction, but i am having
issues: no icon & the error "A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Web Part
Page cannot be displayed or imported because it is not registered on this
site as safe." so i may have some web.config work to get it going. i was
hoping the install would work, but i need more documentation if i am going to
do the entire install manually.
i wanted to at least eval this piece, but it's being a PITA. best,

Web part are language spercific. could it be that your portal is not.
the same language as the web part you installed?
try to search for the dwp file of the web part on the server - find it
and try to import it.
I personally dont recommend this solution - the scripts will not work
for the list and that reduces usability and user expirience. but, suit
yourself.

Paul -- sounds like a good plan. download is here [

i am having a problem using the Web Capture Web Part, tho: after the
install, IIS restart, server reboot & looking thu all the admin screen...i
still don't see this Web Part added to the Virtual Server Gallery. do i need
to manually add this ? or are certain service packs required ? i didn't see
any info on this in the install.
Best,

You could also use the Web Capture part - available from Microsoft as one of
the updates/service packs(?) to SharePoint. The Web Capture part allows you
to capture a specific area of a page. So if you had the web capture part
setup on the home page to capture the news section of the news area page - it
should solve your problem.

There is no built in web part that shows a list from another area\site.
However, you can buy aggregating web part from companies like omnisys
(http://www.omnisys.co.il/itsolutions/main.asp?lngCategoryid=1730) or
corasworks (http://www.corasworks.net/)
you may also like KwizCom calendar aggregation with exchange
integration:(http://www.kwizcom.com/ProductPage.asp?ProductID=175&ProductSubNodeID=176)

Hi All -- I am trying to figure out a way to use / share Area Web Parts
across other Areas. for example from the top-level, we have Home | News |
Site | Topics: how do i use Web Parts from the News Area in the Home Area ?
i am specifically trying to display "Press Announcements", "Company News" &
"Events" on the Home (page) Area. obviously, i am trying to avoid re-creating
these Lists & having to maintain (2) groups of News data. is there a way to
copy / display these Lists and possibly other Web Parts to other Areas ?
Best regards,
