Connect a Web Part to an Oracle db

I'm a beginner sharepoint developer.

Can someone provide sample C# code for connecting a web part to an
Oracle database?

A simple example would suffice eg. selecting a couple of columns from a
single table and displaying these as a list.

The select would have a where clause so that it only brought back the
data for the individual logged into the portal. Many thanks in advance.
