Webpart prompts for password?

Dear all,

I have created a webpart myself, it runs ok in my account. However, when my
users open a page with this webpart, it ask for a username & password. I
thought it was a program error or not enough rights accessing sites. Now I
build an empty webpart, it still asks for password.
I already deployed it to GAC, or spsportal/bin with wss_medium trust,
customized policy files etc, and also tried granting permissions to the
inetpub\spsportal\bin , wpresources, and wpcatalog folders, but it still
doesn't work. Seems like that I missed something? Does anyone encountered
this before and how can i fix it?

Many thanks.

Louie.
