Err ...
Can I also add the REASON I want to use this approach rather than a
button column.
The buttons aI wish to show depend upon the status of the data. Some
rows may have one button others may have another. To use a button
column for this would I think mean having two columns and disabling the
click for the column which should not be active on a row by row basis,
or maybe changing the heading of a single column and responding to the
row state in the click event of that single column. Add to this that I
wanted to use Imagebuttons so changing the image displayed for each row
would also be a pain.
My idea is to have the buttons invisible unless required by the data,
thus I would only be dealing with the allowable actions at any one
time.
I have noticed that there is a OnDataItemBound event but I don't know
how to get the datagrid to rebind to the data after it has been changed
during the click event of the buttons.
Does that clarify or confuse??
Any help appreciated.
Kevin
