HELP! Query a Custom List

I need to query a custom list or I need formula help for a view on the custom
list.

As for the development environment.
I do no have direct access to the server. Everything needs to be done as
user/developer access to the Teamsite. So it needs to be a formula, webpart
or something.

What I would like to do is show a rolling 12hr period for all entries made.
So if its over 12hrs, it won't show in my view. The problem is that I know
its a formula, but I don't see a clean way to do this as it is in SQL.
[Today] doesn't work because once its midnight, I lose the previous 6 hours
from my view and it starts fresh.

I have posted several times regarding this issue and I have had no response
either from Microsoft or anyone else.
