This might be a little late, but when you modify the Template\[Loc
ID]\Any of these folders directories, it reads the default and all
subsequent pages as templates. So in order for you to see the pages you
have modified, you will have to make a brand new area using the
template that you modified.

Then you will notice your changes on your new page.
