If you have multiple portals you should be able to drop your images into the
images folder located in the 60/template directory and then go to various
portals
TestPortal > Site Settings
Change Portal Site Properties and SharePoint Site Creation Settings and
change the name of the Custom Site Portal logo to point to the one for that
portal.

To have different images on different portals i think you may need to edit
each portal in FrontPage
