Please help:
I tried to edit through FrontPage 2003 the default.aspx Home page from a SPS
2003 portal site. It came back with an error saying that "A Web Part or Web
Form Control on this Web Part Page cannot be displayed or imported because it
is not registered as safe on this site." One of our developers was testing a
web part on that page, but that web part is working fine now.
However, when I go to the Web Part Page Gallery (through Edit Page/Modify
Shared Page/Add Web Parts/Browse), there are 140 entries with an exclamation
mark "Web Part Error". There does not seem to be a way to delete these
entries from that menu (or drop them in the page to delete them from the
page). There are other web parts at the end of that list that are working
fine (including the one our developer created). My guess is that those
entries are the ones preventing the editing of the page in FrontPage.
QUESTION: How do I remove those "Web Part Error" entries from the Web Part
Page Gallery? Anybody else had this problem?
Thanks in advance for your response - Leo
