I'm trying to create a web part to collect data from user input, i.e. PO request, and then post it back to the server. I've created my own database to use along with the necessary tables. I have already made a web part that queries this table to retrieve all POs (sample data). But now I need them to be able to add POs.

I wanted to use the lists that are built into SharePoint, but with a PO, i need to specify mulitple items per one PO, so I'm assuming a custom web part is called for.

How do I create a webpart to collect this data? Is there a way to import an already made asp.net file into a webpart?

THANKS!
