I have a webapplication running on tomcat which I would like to display through Sharepoint portal.
This application has many components, for eg:
a. component to show todays financial news.
b. component to show a custom report.
c. component showing a chart
d. an applet showing some streaming data etc.
Right now I am using one of the open source portal software (java) and I may have
to port it on Sharepoint Portal.
What are the different options available in Sharepoint. Can some one help.
Showing it iFrame is an option which I am seriously thinking.
Can some one help?
My webapplication currently has been tested with Plumtree 4.5 and it works fine
with minor modifications.
I can easily define my web-application as a remote gadget server!!. and it works fine
even when the remote gadget server is a Solaris / Unix server.
I have some User paramer forms for some of these components. Does Sharepoint support
these?
Thanks in advance.
Anil
