Yes, I did try to use the local system name in place of the domain name.
The error I get is "object required"
Well, I may not be much use to you as I have no way of playing around with
your script. At the office, we are all Domain and no non domain systems, and
at home, it is all non domain. So I have no way to duplicate your scenerio.
However, I do use ConnectServer whenever I connect to a remote
system for WMI, and I have never specified the optional Domain info,
and it works just fine both at the office and at home. But, that is likely
because each system is in a similar scope, and yours are not.
What is the result if you simply leave of the optional Domain parameter ?
