I have a script which executed through SMS that gets all workstations
connected to the server. I then need to connect to the server and pull
Hmm, I have been using ConnectServer for some time now, and
I dont specify the domain, and it works fine. Have you tried simply leaving
the domain settings out ? The strAuthority parameter which you are setting
in your script is optoinal.

The parameter is optional however as stated in the documentation (copied
below) it still uses a domain to authenticate. What I need is a way to tell
the script to login using the account local to the workstation and not use
the domain. The account is a local workstation admin account only and not on
the domain. Is there another way to connect to the workstation since it
looks like this way will not work for what I need to do?

"If you leave this parameter blank, the operating system negotiates with COM
to determine whether NTLM or Kerberos authentication is used. This parameter
should only be used with connections to remote WMI servers. If you attempt to
set the authority for a local WMI connection, the connection attempt fails."
