The Norton AntiVirus 2002 detected a virus and displayed
its little window with the name of the
virus "Backdoor.Rtkit" and that is was unable to access
the file. I clicked on the virus name and followed all
    the removal instructions at
    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/ba
    ckdoor.rtkit.html#removalinstructions
Norton found 11 files -- some of the files were infected
by another virus name "W32.HLLW.Raleka" -- put 8 in
    quarantine and delete 3.
I run a full system scan again and the same 3 files
showed up again, only this time I couldn't even delete
them and Norton Virus Alert window displays that I'm
still infected and will not close. I follow the path to
files in the system but couldn't delete them.
Should I delete the 8 files in the quarantine? Should
maybe upgrade Norton to 2004? Does anybody know what can
I do? WindowsXP seems to be working fine at the moment
but then I only had it for a week.
    Please help. Thank you.
