Ok here are the answers
I will assume plain text, could we read either plain or HTML from different
clients?
No attachments
No cut and paste
Once in db journey is passed to mobile device for driver journey details
Consistent formula can be guaranteed
Web form not an option
Yes the online form validates the address using Royal Mail paf file then
calculates the distance using MapPoint
All this because of 1 client who insists in sending email instead of filling
our form.
Also can you clarify "Also, I asked for you to send me an email not post
it."
Regards
Simon

Well this is the question, but if we had a strict policy inplace andemail
description as to what format to lay it out in could we read from the
body line by line in an asp page where we could validate the address and
insert into db?
The format I sent you before is a real email.
Please quote what you are replying to so others can follow the
conversation.
Validate what address -- Email, Collection, and /or Destination?
You still haven't answered each of my questions. Here they are again:
Q. Are the messages in plain text or HTML?
A. I presume "plain text"
Q. Would there be any attachments? If so, what type?
A. I presume "no attachements".
Q. What would the client effort be; would they be willing
to cut-and-paste a "Reply To" copy of the email into
a textarea?
Q. Once in the database how would they be used?
Q. Can a consistent format always be guaranteed?
Q. Would you send me an example of a real email?
Q. Could an Web form be used to generate the email?
Q. How would you handle missing data?
Q. Does the "online booking interface" insert records into a db?
Also, I asked for you to send me an email not post it.
Why, becuase they're different!
