detecting DVD-video

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

We have a records group that uses a script (HTA, VBScript) to examine
record media (floppies, CDs, DVDs) and archive files from the media to
a fileserver.

Occassionally, we receive a DVD-video disk mixed in with the non-video
DVD-ROM disks. I would like to trap this and tell the user, so that
they will not try to extract files from an anti-rip DVD.

I have been searching, unsuccessfully, for some property
(predominantly under WMI and FileSystemObject) of the logical drive
that will tell me if it is DVD-video or a protected disk.

Any ideas would be appeciated.

Thanks,
Bruce
