|I think your real issue is to contact your DSL provider and have
|them flush the old MAC address from thier DHCP database. Most
|ISP's keep track of MAC addresses to limit the number of IP's
|that can connect from any one client. Since you built a new system,
|you now have a new MAC address and you may be experiencing
|issues related to your ISP vending you a DHCP address.
|
|This is only an issue of you are connected directly to a DSL modem.
|If there is a NAT router in between you and the Modem, then ignore
|this post.

Thanks for the feedback. I am connected directly to a DSL modem. So
your solution could certainly be the answer. I've been beating my
