Re: How do I copy files with SUPER long file paths using FileSyste

So, it turns out, it is a problem with the Operating System: Windows XP/2003. I originally thought I could copy and paste the file with windows explorer... but I can't. Windows explorer will automatically truncate the filename and prevent me from saving a file where the file path + file name + file extension is greater than 255 characters.

Looks like I'm going to have to change my server to windows 2003 64 bit edition.

I don't believe that would solve anything. 255 chars is AFAIK filesystem limit, not operating system limit. IE. if you use NTFS in 64 bit server it still has that same 255 limit.
