Re: Installed MS Script 5.6 for XP and IIS no longer runs asp pages

I have an XP Pro machine SP2 with IIS 5.1 on it. It is a development
machine for our comanpies web site. I tried to install the latest script 5.6
update for XP from MS dated June 2006. When I install this IIS stops working
with everything except basic htm or html pages. I was able to restore my
system and asp and aspx worked fine again. I tried applying the 5.6 script
again about a month later and same thing. Has anyone else seen this?
* I did post similar question in IIS newsgroup, but no responses.

This probably isn't much help, but since nobody else is responding, here it is.
I have W2K Pro with IIS 5.0 (The "lite" version that came with W2K Pro)
installed. I also have the same, latest scripting engine that you do. I use ASP
daily, with no problems.
