Thanks guys, you've been a great help and useful links. I found the
solution to be in IE; in the Local Intranet settings I Enabled the
following option, 'initialize and script activex controls not marked as
safe', and it let the script run without problems. As I say, thanks
again gents. As usual, this site has worked wonders.
One last qu, how do you mark an activex script as being safe? I'm
guessing it has to be signed but how, I don't know.
