PFFT! That is either something they're telling you to shut you up, or they
don't know what they're talking about. Booting up has nothing to do with
logon scripts... Only logging on has to do with logon scripts. If they
were right, that would mean that you could boot up the computer, let it sit
there for five minutes, and then your logon scripts would run. Something
else is going on that is preventing your scripts from running or working.
Which is the issue? They aren't running, or they aren't working? If they
aren't running, this is commonly because your XP machines aren't using an AD
domain controller for DNS and the users are being authenticated by cached
logon credentials. If they're not working, well, what's not working?
