What else can I do?? This server is set to use a domain account called
sql for the various services, should I set this back to the system
account??
I meant to say local system account, would I have to completely
re-install to make this happen??? It's a dev/test server, it's behind a
firewall, I could get away with this, even though it means re-setting
up the whole server VM, which I also don't mind doing if it would allow
me to have myself and one other person to work on the server properly.
I would actually prefer to have an AD group called SQL DBOs and give
this group sysadmin rights, but I don't think I can do that,
right?????? If I can do it, do I just set this group as a login??
I work for a non-profit agency that is just starting to computerize its
data collection etc. and I am the unofficial DBA...
Thank you, Tom
