My client wants to migrate from Linux to Microsoft. So I was asked to
translate a website build in PHP (with MySQL) into ASP.
Now I need to choose a database system to run with ASP.
My first guess would be SQL-Server, but my client's database is not very
large (yet). So this might be a little bit overkill and MS Access is out of
the question.
Sometimes I read about MSSQL. What is that? Is it just a synonym for
SQL-Server?
Who has experience with the MSDE? Can it also be used with a website?

Is having a VBScript on your website one way to do this? ... but I expect you'd be better off finding an ASP... in your file and the result will render an html file that is sent to the ... RE: Migration to new hardware ... can anyone give me a heads up on the Intranet website inability to log ... local only to be sure it was pulling from local box through host file and not ...windows login rather than the webpage login. ...
