I was able to successfully uninstall, but now I'm having trouble
reinstalling.
The following items in the installation process are producing the error "The
program could not be registered due to error 0x80020009."
18:32:22 Begin Action RegisterSvrReplFiles
18:32:23 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\snapshot.exe-unregserver
18:32:23 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\distrib.exe-unregserver
18:32:23 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\replmerg.exe-unregserver
18:32:24 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\logread.exe-unregserver
18:32:24 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\qrdrsvc.exe-unregserver
18:35:16 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\snapshot.exe-regserver
18:36:02 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\distrib.exe-regserver
18:36:10 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\replmerg.exe-regserver
18:36:12 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\logread.exe-regserver
18:36:14 **** File registered: D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\qrdrsvc.exe-regserver
18:36:14 End Action RegisterSvrReplFiles
Finally, I get the following message before the installation process exits:
"An error occurred while creating one or more registry entries. Please see
D:\WINDOWS\\\sqlstp.log for details. The problem could be caused by a low
registry quota condition."
Does anyone know what's going on?
