I'm directing this question to the newsgroups because support.microsoft.com
doesnt really have anything about reporting services aside from the basic
stuff...
I installed SQL Server 2k sp3a and reporting services on a server that I
have. Then I made a report in VS2003 and published it to the server.
The first thing that I noticed was that the published report did not have
any of the defaults for the parameters... I have to type them all in
manually.
The second thing I noticed was that in the report manager, I cannot "apply"
any changes. I can click on the apply button, but then the browser seems
to idle indefinatly. I've tried this on more than one computer with the
same results.
for example, If I want to make a default parameter for a specific report
parameter, I go to that page, update the related form fields, and click
Apply. It just idles with "Done" in the status bar.
I figure its probably a server configuration error, but I've been unable to
find out where that might be...
Does anyone know what my problem is?
Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this,
-- Jason
