I'm working on a project that has 1 SQL server, several 'feature
servers' (that access the SQL server to execute the features and N
clients that make requests to both the feature servers and directly to
the SQL server.
Currently I am communicating with the sql server via atl:data
access:consumer (using CAccessors).
My question is what will happen if different versions of MDAC (which i
believe includes the sql access dlls) are used on the sql server, the
feature servers and the clients. The clients can run any version of
Windows from 98SE to XP SP1 and higher. The servers can run anything
from Win2k to Win3k, (including XP).
