Though bear in mind you only need the .NET Framework, you don't actually
need Visual Studio.

Check out the information at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/ on how to
install VS.NET.
You can verify if it's installed by looking in ControlPanel/ Add/Remove
Programs.
