What I am speaking of is in Visual Studio 2003, Solution Explorer, Add Web
Reference,

@ this point a dialog pops up where you select your webservice from

I'm confused as to why you would have to add "?wsdl" in the url address bar
as opposed to just click on a webservice like I normally would.
