You need to apply service pack 2 to the client.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is an SP2 download for the tools only, so you'll need to download all 282 MB of SQLServer2005SP2-KB921896-x86-ENU.exe (assuming you are on 32-bit).
If you are using maintenance plans at all, you will want to apply CU6 before re-enabling SQL Server Agent (you will likely also want to update the servers with this update).

I'm in a quandry. I have two machines each with SQL Server 2005 installed. On
one of my machines the version of Managment Studio is 9.00.2047.00. On the
other maching the version is 9.00.3042.00. The context menu when right
clicking an object (i.e., view) in 3042 version has an "Edit" option which I
really like. On the older version 2047...there is no "Edit" option but rather
a "Modify" option which presents a completely different U/I.
Can someone perhaps shed some light on where I need to go or how I get the
most current version of Management Studio. I am a universal MSDN subscriber
so can download whatever I need.
Thanks
Paul
