I tell ya...it's amazing how much time gets wasted because of small
change...Thank you for posting this, saved me a bunch of time.


What has happened, I think, is that MSFT has tried to deliver an IDE for
SQL that looks like the IDE for Visual Studio, and I think it's not a
good match.


For those of us who maybe do smaller development work that requires them
to know and use a broad set of tools (admin, coding, database, design,
etc), similar IDEs are very helpful. The downside for people like me
though, is when something I am used to, say "modify", does not perform
as expected. I don't know enough about databases to understand why.
Fortunately, I have you kind folks to enlighten me!
