SQL Job "show history" truncated

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have a job in the SQL Server "jobs" agent (the job scheduler) that runs a
DTS transaction. When I go to "view job history" and break it down to the
steps, the message box that shows for the main step seems to have the text of
the resulting messages truncated.

The problem I have is that some return code is getting set to indicate the
step fails. Since I can't see all of the messages, I can't figure out what
it thinks if failing.

Is there a way to get the complete text of the messages from a step in a SQL
Server job??
.
