Hi Vicki
For a number of rules yes, admin privileges are required. Some rules require
NT privileges (for example those that use remote registry or open a file
remotely) and for the SQL Server ones they should be able to connect to the
different databases in the system and be able to run some of the system
stored procs (e.g. full text enabled).

able to run the Best Practices Analyzer? I'd like my developers to be able
to run Best Practices, but they have limited security on the database
server.
