I am entering the service account as DOMAIN\SERVICENAME. The cluster nodes
are members of the domain, but the SQL Server Network Name does not exist in
the domain. And finally, there are no connections issues between the cluster
nodes and the domain controller.

Exactly what do you enter that Service Account boxes?.
You use the following format, right?:
DOMAINNAME\SERVICENAME
Also, are you sure your SQL Server server\machine is a member of the domain?
There's no a connection problem between the SQL Server machine and Domain
Controller server, right?

I'm attempting to install a Failover Cluster SQL Server 2008 on Windows
2008.
I can't get past the Service Accounts screen. No matter what domain
account
I use (I've even tried a domain admin) I get the error "The specified
credentials for the SQL Server service are not valid. To continue,
provide a
valid aco*** and password for the SQL Server service." I get the same
message for the SQL Server Agent service. I tried using the Network
Service,
but since this is a Failover Cluster it is reuiring a domain user for the
2
services. Has anyone gotten past this?
