How many instances of SQL Server Express do you now have? You have one with
SP3 (which you installed manually) but that update is in the list probably
because you have at least one instance < SP3. If you don't need that other
instance, remove it...

This is driving me NUTS
I know form many years use of Windows that if an update is installed either
automaticlly or maunually it will be removed from the list. How eve not this
one
if I do try to down load and install from , Vista Ultimate, Avalable Updates
I contiually get the error message "SQL BPA command line has stopped working"
and I have to stop the installation.
I have actuall manually down loaded the SQL 2005 Express Edition + Advanced
Services SP3 (KB255706) ran and intalled it with out any problem.
SO how do I either REMOVE it form the list of avalble updates (not by
unchecking it as it comes backup checked every update sesion) so that it
NEVER apperas again or how do I get it to correctly install (not come up with
the error message/stopage) form there so that Windows will automatiaclly
remove it from the list.
