Help with remote access over the internet

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have a computer on my network that is hosting SQL express and its IP is: 192.168.0.22
I can connect just fine with SQL Management studio express and our crm client.
We can connect using either computername/sqlexpress OR 192.168.0.22/sqlexpress
Either way works just fine.

Windows firewall is enabled (but the correct exceptions are made). However, I have DISABLED windows firewall for testing sake.

I cannot connect to this computer from outside our lan. I have tried using SQLMSE as well as our client app.
I have tried using the WAN IP as well as a subdomain we have pointed (dedicated ip).

On my hardware firewall I have this NAT setup
WAN:TCP External Port 1443 point to 192.168.0.22 internal port 1433
I also have an exception for port 1329 because the server is setup on 1329 under the dynamic ports field in tcp/ip properties.

I have searched the web for what port to use and such and based on that info I have enabled tcpip protocol, named pipes etc.

Yet I cannot connect from outside our lan.

I'm certain it is not that our firewall does not work.

I have NAT rules also setup for HTTP access as well as remote desktop.
I can remote desktop and view http just fine. So I don't believe I have configured the firewall wrong.

Please advise.
