2008 Express install fails because of 2005 tools?

I’m trying to install SQL Server Express 2008 on a development computer that
is also running 2000 Personal and 2005 Express. However I’m stopped because I
have 2005 Tools and I’m told I need to remove them. I need to be able to run
and work on all three versions. Will 2008 Tools provide me with what I need
to work on my 2005 DBs? What exactly am I supposed to remove? When I look in
Change or Remove Programs under SQL Server 2005 I do not see any “Tools” to
remove. Do they mean Workstation Components? All of them?
