Data Analyst III

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work on a critical project
for the leading technology company in eDiscovery. Successful
candidates will have at least four years of industry experience and a
Bachelors Degree with strong data analysis and T-SQL background. This

Additional responsibilities include:

* Design, develop, implement and document repeatable processes
(scripts) required to handle requests by the user base and fellow
technicians
* Primary data owner of million+ row staging and production
databases
* Manage introduction and selection processes
* Search/date/file-type analysis
* Review management and technical recommendations to Project Managers
and clients
* Clarify, confirm and implement client processing and reporting
requests
* Coordinate with project management, development, hosting, and other
operations teams to manage review environment performance
* Envision, design and document technical and process improvements
* Coordinate testing of database upgrades and new releases
* Work with IT to monitor throughput of network and disk subsystems
attached to database processes
* Mentor fellow staff in T-SQL; formal classes and ad hoc
* Quality control and active member in the quality improvement
process
* Liaison with other departments to monitor quality of data
interfaces
* Data consistency and integrity verification

To qualify, you need a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer
Science, Information Systems or related paired with at least 4 years
of experience. Your background should span 2+ years in database
programming and with performance tuning experience.

Your experience should also include:

* Relational databases and T-SQL programming in a MS SQL Server
2000/2005 environment or in an Oracle environment
* Windows operating environment and MS Office applications
* Reporting and analysis concepts and techniques
* Large data stores, data warehouse and database environments (multi-
TB environments)
* Strong understanding of file structures and e-mail systems
* Knowledge of Lotus Notes, Outlook, Active Server Pages, XML
and HTML is a definite plus.
