MORE INFORMATION
You can ignore the SQL Server Agent error Event id: 318. The error occurs
because of another application
failure that is running on the same computer where SQL Server is running. To
prevent the error,
troubleshoot and resolve the application error that is raised by the other
application.

Dear SQL experts.
I have a SQL 2000 server installed on a Windows 2003.net member server and
keep on getting Event Id 318 appearing in the application event viewer.
This is something to do with SQLSERVERAGENT and suggesting that the
machine might not have the necessary registry information message DLL
files...
As soon as I clear the event - it re-appears within a couple of seconds.
Any suggestions???
Regards
Paul.
