Restoring Master and msdb databases

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I installed Microsoft SQL Server 2005 at our DR Site. I would like to use our
master and madb databases from our site here at DR. I backed up the
databases, but am having problems restoring them at our DR Site. When I try
to restore the master db, I get the error that it needs to be opened in
single server mode. When I try to put the master db in single usermode, I get
the error that single user cannot be set in database mnater. When I try to
restore the msdb db, I receive the fiollowing error: Exclusive access could
not be obtained because the database is in use.

I know that other people have to have done this before. Can someone point me
to the right link or advise on how to do this?

Thanks,
.
