There are several methods licensing your SQL Servers.

There are three options generally.

1- Buying a Processor License then your clients would not need an extra license. Processor License is only for one processor socket on your SQL Server server.
2- Buying a SQL Server License + CALs (for your each client device)
3- Buying a SQL Server License + CALs (for your each client user)

I don't know about your SQL Server server but you may consider Processor Licensing. You can find more information about licensing of SQL Server from the following link:

I have two software need SQL database. I have about 100 users need to use
those two software. How many license should I get for SQL 2005 Standard
