Re: SQL 2005 - Backup Maintainance Plan Failed

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Simon,

I see that the last part of this says "syntax error". I have no idea what
that is, of course.

If step 1 is a TSQL step such as Check Database Integrity or Backup
Database, then from the Maintenance Plan editor you can click on the
properties and use [View TSQL] button to look at the code. Maybe that
would help.

Hi

We have a new instance of SQL Server 2005 and have created a backup
maintainance plan which is failing with these errors.

I am not sure what the problem could be.

Any advice would be much appreicated

Thanks
