Hi, we have a sql 2000 server on an NT 4.0 box and would like to move
this to a newer Windows 2000 server in a different domain while
keeping all of the jobs, stored procedures and such. I have seen some
articles on how to do a SQL move, but I cannot find one specific to my
situation. I'm a little scared to follow some of the articles I've
seen because they usually involve moving sql within the same version
of windows or within the same domain.

I would also like to make this as transparent as possible to
computers and queries that connect to this server, which seems like it
would involve renaming our new SQL server name to our old SQL Server
name.

Can anyone point me to any articles or give me some sort of roadmap
that might address my specific needs? Thanks a lot. -Vincent.
