Re: Cannot upgrade a licensed sql2000 to a MSDN 2005

Maybe I wasn't clear, I can only install developer express.
When I try to replace SQL2000 and developer expression with my MSDN version
of 'developers edition' I get one warning:
- SQL Server Edition Operating System Compatibility (Warning)

Messages

SQL Server Edition Operating System Compatibility

Some components of this edition of SQL Server are not supported on this
operating system. For details, see 'Hardware and Software Requirements for
Installing SQL Server 2005' in Microsoft SQL Server Books Online.

It allows me to upgrade my clients, but doesn't give me the option of
upgrading anything else.
So I'm back to where I used to be, with a mixture of SQL2000 & dev express
dataservers, and dev edition client tools!

I would include the log file, but it's 2+M...

My Summary.txt looks like this:

Please feel free to let me know if you encounter any problems.
