Hello,
Select SQL Server Configuration manager from SQL Server 2005 program groups.
There choose Sql Services option and see if SQLServer (MSSQLServer) service
is avaialble.
If it is in stopped status then start it. If the service is not listed then
you may need to run the SQL 2005 setup program and install database engine.
Thanks
Hari

How would I go about creating a new Database Engine in SQL Server 2005?
I am missing the Database Engine...I have all SQL services running and
I have the sqlservr.exe located in the program files. I'm running
Win2k3 Server R2 x64 and running SQL 2005 x64. How can I get a
Database Engine created?
.
