Configuration Checker available stand-alone?

We are testing our apps against SQL Server 2005 - (several VB apps and they
are working great! - kudos for compatibility MS!)
We currently offer installation of MSDE as an option for smaller clients and
I will need to switch that over to SQL Server Express soon (especially since
Vista doesn't support MSDE). I have tested a command-line install and, I
think, I have that down.. (not very different from command line install of
MSDE).
Next, I have to idiot-proof the install as much as possible by making sure
the user's PC is up to snuff on the significant requirements of SQL 2005. I
know the installer calls the System Configuration Checker and won't allow an
install to happen, but I would like to be able to point clients to a
stand-alone version of the checker that they could run before hand. You
see, many of our clients are technically challenged and usually have to pay
a consultant to come out to install many applications. If they schedule
time for a techy person to be there and the install fails, it is a wasted
trip. Giving them a list of requirements doesn't always work, as they seem
to miss one item or another.
So.. is there a stand-alone version of the System Configuration Checker for
SQL Server 2005 Express? I have searched quite a bit and don't find any
links available.
Thanks in advance!
